Founded in 2005, Defense Engineering Inc. (DBA: DEI) quickly gained industry recognition as a trusted small business IT engineering firm, working closely with executive-level organizations such as the Washington Headquarters Services (WHS), the DoD Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), and the DoD Office of Chief Information Officer (OCIO).
Between 2008 and 2019, DEI won multiple contracts with the U.S. Army Information Technology Agency (ITA), the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA), the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), the Defense Industrial Base (DIB), the Defense Cyber Crime Center (DC3), National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA), Office of Inspector General DoD (OIG) and the Naval Criminal Investigative Services (NCIS). These contract wins further solidified DEI’s reputation as a trusted partner in enterprise IT engineering services. As a result, DEI saw a significant growth in revenue and headcount.
The year 2025 will be a landmark year for DEI as we proudly celebrate our 20th anniversary.
