DEi Announces JOE Cloud Task Order win

Defense Engineering Inc. (DEI) announced today that it has been awarded multiple tasks supporting the Department of Defense Chief Information Officer (DoD CIO) Joint Operational Edge (JOE) Cloud initiative, a strategic effort to accelerate the delivery of secure cloud capabilities to the tactical edge across the Department of Defense.

Through this engagement, DEI will provide engineering expertise and technical support to help advance the DoD’s vision of delivering secure, resilient, and scalable cloud services directly to operational environments. The JOE Cloud initiative is designed to enhance the ability of warfighters and mission operators to access critical data, applications, and analytics in real time, even in highly contested or bandwidth-constrained environments.

DEI’s role in the program includes supporting cloud architecture design, edge computing integration, secure infrastructure deployment, and alignment with DoD enterprise cloud and cybersecurity strategies. The effort will help enable rapid deployment of mission applications while maintaining the highest levels of security and interoperability across the defense enterprise.

“The JOE Cloud initiative represents a significant step forward in delivering advanced cloud capabilities to the operational edge,” said a DEI executive. “DEI is proud to support the DoD CIO in advancing technologies that provide warfighters with faster access to critical information, enhanced decision-making capabilities, and resilient communications in complex operational environments.”
